Kate Winslet is to join the select band of 2,500-odd movie stars, directors and industry figures to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 38-year-old actress will be joined by Titanic director James Cameron and co-star Kathy Bates for the ceremony next Monday.
Ana Martinez, who organises the ceremonies, said: "We are so happy that Kate Winslet will be here on our famous boulevard of dreams receiving her well-deserved star.
"We've seen Kate shine in her roles and fans around the world have been anxiously waiting for this special day to come."
Winslet will be the 2,520th person to be honoured with a star on the famous tourist attraction, with other recent honourees including Julianne Moore and Vin Diesel.
