Kate Winslet Wins Two Golden Globes

The British star picks up both awards she was up for and Slumdog Millionaire wins big

Kate Winslet has won two Golden Globes for two separate films at the massive awards ceremony last night.

She picked up Best Actress for Revolutionary Road and Best Supporting Actress for The Reader in Los Angeles. On picking up her second award Winslet asked: Is this really happening?

Fellow Brit Sally Hawkins won Best Comedy Actress at the Golden Globes on a night of triumphs for the UK.

Slumdog Millionaire received four awards at the event in Los Angeles including Best Film Drama, Best Director for Danny Boyle and Best Screenplay.

The movie is set in Mumbai and tells the story of a slum-kid who wins the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
