Katherine Jenkins Breaks Down On DWTS

Welsh opera star overcome after tribute waltz for her late father...

Katherine Jenkins has broken down in tears after performing a waltz in tribute to her late father on Dancing With The Stars.
The Welsh opera singer, 31, was overcome by emotion after her dance with partner Mark Ballas in the US reality show's "Memorable Week".
And the judges were also overcome, scoring her a near-perfect 29 out of 30 points - and almost shedding tears themselves.
Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli both praised her and Carrie Ann Inaba stifled tears of her own and added: "It's like your father's arms were around you."

Katherine's father Selwyn died from lung cancer in 1996 when she was still at school.
She told viewers: "I got pulled out of class by my auntie who said 'your dad's gone into a coma'. It happened so quickly.
"The following day, he passed away and I’m just glad I got the chance to say goodbye. If I could go back and tell my dad I would be in America and dancing on TV for him, he just wouldn't believe it. It's so overwhelming.
"I wouldn't be where I am today without my dad. Dad, this waltz is for you."
