13 Reasons Why Star Katherine Langford Has Landed The Lead in A New Netflix Show
It’s titled ‘Cursed’ and will focus on the Arthurian legend ‘The Lady of the Lake’.
It seems as though the doors of Netflix aren’t meant to stay shut forever as Katherine Langford is returning to the platform to star in brand new series ‘Cursed’.
According to Variety, the 13 Reasons Why actress will take on the lead roel of Nimue, a teenager with a precious gift who is destined to become the almighty Lady of the Lake.
Penned by writer and producer Tom Wheeler, as well as Sin City comic book writer Frank Miller, the show is billed as a coming-of-age story told by Nimue as she explores intense themes such as war and courage.
This news comes after Katherine made her exit from 13RW earlier this year, with the show set to continue for a third series without her.
Since her exit she’s also starred in critically acclaimed Love, Simon, as well as filming the new movie adaptation of the book Spontaneous. The film is set in a world where teens are randomly combusting. Yikes.
But that’s not all that the actor has lined up as the rumour mill is talking about whether or not the star will be heading up the Love, Simon sequel, as her character Leah narrates the second book in the series.
This could be a really busy year, Katherine. You’re going to need some serious caffeine.
