Katie Hopkins Goes On Loose Women - And All Hell Breaks Loose

There were always going to be fireworks when Katie Hopkins appeared as a guest on Loose Women, but yesterday's edition ended up rivalling Celebrity Big Brother itself for awks.

Things started out nicely enough, but the CBB runner-up soon clashed with Coleen Nolan and Janet Street-Porter on the show when the tabloid troll was challenged about her treatment of other people.

Nolan asked if she ever regretted any of her spiteful comments, and when asked for an example she mentioned Hopkins' description of her sister Linda Nolan's "fat arm" and "droopy breast" on last year's CBB.

"Can you imagine someone saying that about your family?" Nolan demanded.

But Hopkins was defiant about her right to mock the cancer survivor's appearance, answering: "I wasn't the biggest fan of your sister... I get a lot of comments every day... I accept those things what people throw at me.

"If you put yourself out there on TV, you have to expect that people aren't always going to like you."

Street-Porter then asked why Hopkins didn't offer constructive criticism - demanding an answer when she was ignored.

"I'm not looking to do constructive, helpful criticism," Hopkins told her. "I have 400,000 followers on Twitter because some people find me witty and entertaining."

Other notable moments in the ill-tempered appearance saw Hopkins call CBB rival Nadia Sawalha "a bully" and Street-Porter telling her: "Don't patronise me."
