Katie Price Admits She 'Idolised' Peter Andre
The Reality TV queen is about to reveal ALL in a new documentary...
Imagine being Katie Price’s therapist.
Seriously. Just imagine it. You’d be there for hours, chatting about everything from husbands and heartbreaks to surgeries and reality shows. It would be fascinating… and exhausting.
Thankfully, you’ll never have to go through it. Dr Claudia Bernat has taken on the job for Channel 5’s new documentary, Katie Price: In Therapy.
For the first time ever, Katie has agreed to go through an intense series of psychological evaluations, during which the good doctor will try and get to the bottom of who the real Katie Price actually is.
And trust us when we tell you it’s going to get pretty emotional - especially when it comes to the Peter Andre parts.
Katie Price: Through The Years
"I thought that we could have been together forever,” she reveals at one point, according to Now magazine. "I idolised him and he did me, definitely.”
But it seems the pressures of fame were just too much for the couple, who met filming I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here in 2004.
“Because we met on a TV show our whole life was on TV, a reality show, birthdays, kids born, everything was a photoshoot and filmed,” she explains.
“If it wasn't, would we have stayed together? Who knows?
"He thought that something was going on with me and my horse trainer... I loved Pete. I’d have never have done anything behind his back or anything like that."
Katie goes on to open up about her fears of “failure”, the struggles that she’s experienced bringing up her eldest son Harvey, her husband Kieran Hayler’s affair with ex BFF Jane Poutney, and her upbringing in the revealing programme, airing Friday 21st August at 9pm on Channel 5.
