The annual Kylie Minogue was the biggest winner of the night and took home the covetedKaty Perry, who snatched the Newcomer of the Year after the storming success of her songs I Kissed a Girl and Hot N Cold.

Girls Aloud took home the Band of the Year award, with Cheryl Cole making it a double win taking home TV Personality of the Year for her work on X Factor.

Fearne Cotton was presented with Radio Personality of the Year by last year’s winner Chris Moyles, and the Editor’s Special Award went to American Boy singer Estelle.
