Katy Perry and John Mayer have reportedly called time on their romance.
According to UsMagazine.com, the couple have decided to split after dating each other for seven months - with the cause of their apparent break-up still unknown.

A source told the website: "It's sad. It's not over until it's over. You have to see how things play out."

The Mirror has since reported that K-Pez sent a cryptic tweet on Monday (March 18) which could be hinting at their split, with the Firework singer writing: "ATTENTION: Mercury is OUT of retrograde today. Thank GOD."
Both Katy and Mayer are yet to confirm or deny the reports - which may come as a surprise to some fans after[uuid=04f86a34-a201-4fe8-a107-31ac6bea7181] John openly discussed his relationship with Perry[/uuid] in a recent interview.
Back in February, he told CBS Sunday Morning: "For the first time in my life, I don't feel like I'm in a celebrity relationship.
"I really don't. I'm not in a high-profile... I know it's high profile. It's hard to explain. For me, it feels like something that's very human."
Mayer also hinted that he was keen to settle down at some point in the future, stating: "Of course! I mean, I'm still the kid from Connecticut. That's what you do."
