Katy Perry has confirmed plans to star in her own 3D concert movie.
The Justin Bieber, announcing on Twitter that the film is named after her new single Part Of Me and is due for release this summer.
Perry tweeted yesterday (7th March): "READY FOR HUGE NEWS?! FINALLY, my MOVIE is coming out with Paramount this summer!"
She added: "It's called "KATY PERRY: PART OF ME" Presented In 3D! KATYCATS-LETS TREND #KP3D."
Last month, reports emerged that the 27-year old had been approached by Paramount to star in a 3D movie, using the same format as Bieber's 2011 flick Never Say Never.
Earlier this week, K-Pez also revealed that she's already planned her next two albums, telling our US Team: "I don't want to jinx myself because I haven't stepped into the studio. I have an idea - I always have an idea. Like, I have an idea for the next two records; it just depends.
"What I say is, I'm gonna kind of put my finger out there and test the pulse or test the waters of what the world wants, or what I need to say, which is probably most important rather than what the world wants."
Perry continued: "I don't want to give too much away. I also don't want to play the game of trying to continually top myself because eventually it may not always go as I planned.
"I may not get to be able to have another number one, so I'm just gonna do what feels right for me artistically. I'm very inspired at the moment, and so I'm gonna follow my heart as I always have and hopefully people will like it."
