Katy Perry has debuted a short new haircut as she prepares to release her second album Teenage Dream.
The star was photographed at Tokyo airport as she arrived in Japan this weekend with a dark bob, though its unclear if the hairdo was a wig.
Perry is known for wearing outrageous outfits and hair pieces, in her recent California Gurls video she was seen in a metallic purple wig.
KP is currently in Asia promoting her new album and singles. In a recent Tweet she proclaimed her love for Japan’s capital city, saying: “Going to my FAVORITE place in the WHOLE world...TOKYO. I'm gonna puke hearts, stars, unicorns & harajuku girls, I can't take it.”
She was also in Australia late last week where she made a surprise appearance at a school prom singing her own songs!
