Katy Perry Dismisses Beach Boys Lawsuit Reports

The singer claims she is not being sued for a lyric used in California Gurls...

Katy Perry has denied claims that she has been threatened with a lawsuit by The Beach Boys' record label Snoop Doggsays on the track and they want a cut of the profit from the song.
A source claimed: "Brian and Mike's record label, Rondor Music, have sent a letter to Katy's label, Capitol. It says Katy has cribbed one of the most famous lyrics in history."
A spokesman for Wilson said: "He likes Katy's record but doesn't know where the situation stands."

However, the I Kissed A Girl singer has since dismissed the reports on Twitter claiming that she isn't being sued over the lyric.

Perry tweeted: "Just to be clear... no-one is suing anyone. The press just loves to once again fabricate & exaggerate stories to get hits or sell papers."
