Katy Perry showed her support for Barack Obama by slipping herself into a latex white dress at a rally concert for the president yesterday (24th October).
The Firework hitmaker wore the figure-hugging frock for her performance at the America Forward Grassroots event in Las Vegas, where she encouraged Americans to 'vote early' for Obama in the upcoming elections.
K-Pez's latex dress featured a ballot paper design, complete with Obama's box filled in to represent her vote - while his opposition Mitt Romney's box was left empty.
The 28-year old told the 13,000 members of the crowd: "Don't wait. Go tomorrow. How many of you are 18 here? It's going to be your first time, right?"
After Perry's stint on stage, Obama thanked the Teenage Dream star for her support, adding that her grandmother almost got him in trouble with wife, Michelle Obama.
He joked: "I've got to know Katy and she's a wonderful young lady. And I can tell that part of it is because of her outstanding grandma, a 50-year resident of Nevada.
"The only thing I have to say is she got some lipstick on me when she kissed me. Fortunately somebody wiped it off before Michelle saw it. I'm telling you, you're going to get me in trouble!"
After appearing at the event, Katy - whose birthday is today (25th October) then tweeted: "So tonight was a great night! The PRESIDENT gave grandma and I unforgettable shout outs & now I am officially 28! Best. birthday. ever."
