Katy Perry Explains Lady GaGa 'Alejandro' Tweet
The singer claims she wasn't directing her comment at GaGa...
"It's hard for me to say that, because sometimes I'm a very hypocritical person. Everybody's like, 'How do you say that and you kissed a girl?' And I think sometimes, most of the time, you can disagree or agree, spirituality and sexuality are two separate things, and then when you decide to put them into the same subject, it gets interesting for some people."
Katy later claimed that regardless of their different religious views, she still loves Lady G adding: "Everybody knows, I've said it maybe 100 times on my Twitter, I'm one of the biggest Lady GaGa fans and Madonna fans andRussell Brand fans. It's just that, like, of course, some people have different viewpoints."
The Hot N Cold singer, who is gearing up for the release of her second studio LP has also revealed why she decided to call it Teenage Dream.
Perry told our US team: "I want to call it Teenage Dream because there's a song on the record called that and I wrote that song in Santa Barbara and it was a very pure moment for me, because that's where I'm from."
She added: "And also it kind of exudes this euphoric feeling because everybody remembers what their teenage dreams were - all the girls that were on your poster walls. I want to continue to be one of those... teenage wet dreams."
