Perry has also worked with McKee and Greg Kurstin on new song Double Rainbow, but the California Gurl was keen to add that she's "halfway through" her new record.
The 28-year old said: "When I put myself on a timeline, when I tell the record company when I want to release the album, that's when the race starts. That's when I put pressure on myself."
