Katy Perry has slammed reports she and Orlando Bloom had a difficult split, saying that there's no bad bloodfollowing their decision to part ways.

The split was announced in Us Weekly, with Katy and Orlando predictingthat "rumours and falsifactions" would start doing the rounds about their break-up.

It turns out the pair of them were right, with reportssprouting out of nowhere aboutthe break-upbeing a lot messier than their statement first hinted at.

But taking to Twitter to shut down the speculation, Katy confirmed that no-one was a "victim or villian" in their split and that the relationship really just ran its course.

Arguingthat we should all stop jumping to conclusion about their split, she pointed out not every break-up is filled with drama.

Having the finalword on the speculation, she wrote: "Get a life y'all!"

Fair enough.
