Woah, we know that Katy Perry loves mixing up her hairstyle, but we never thought we'd see her channel Kris Jenner for inspiration!

The singer took to Instagram yesterday (yep, as in April Fools day) to share the snap of her short brunette pixie cut, with the caption: "I asked for the Kris Jenner"

Is it a wig? Is it all an elaborate hoax? Or is this the real deal?!

[related]She's even got the seal of approval from the Kardashian matriarch herself, with Kris replying on Twitter: "LOL I love you! You look gorgeous beautiful girl!!!"

Either way, we actually think it looks pretty amazing on KP, who is clearly one of those really annoying people who can pull of any and ALL hairstyles.

Not that we're jealous at all.
