Katy Perry Planning Acoustic Album?
K-Pez 'excited' about forthcoming music plans...
Katy Perry has revealed she may switch from raunchy pop to country music in the future.
The Firework hitmaker told The Sun: "I've always wanted to make something like an acoustic record.
"My favourite record is Patty Griffin's Flaming Red. I discovered it when I was in Nashville."
K-Pez added: "I definitely want to do a Patty Griffin-esque thing at some point. It's something I'm really excited about because I know I can do it and I haven't really played that card yet."
Following her split from hubby Russell Brand last year, Katy announced that her forthcoming material would be "real f*****g dark", but also revealed she would "test the waters" with her next two albums.
Perry is rumoured to be dating Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd after the pair were snapped getting cosy at Coachella.
