Katy Perry has previewed the long-awaited video for ‘Swish Swish’ and it totally looks worth the wait.

A sneak peak of the music video revealed itself in an advert for the latest American edition of NOW! That’s What I Call Music, and Miss Perry is taking things to the basketball court to bring the insanely catchy bop to life.

The quick clip shows that the ‘Feels’ singer is poking fun of herself once again, as she is smacked across the face with a basketball while trying to perform.

Katy always delivers with her visuals, whether she’s turning up the heat or being tongue-in-cheek, so we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us with this one.

The video is expected to premiere on August 21, some eagle-eyed sources suggest,just one week before she’ll take to the VMAs stage to host this year’s awards show.

She is also confirmed as a performer and we are keeping everything crossed that Nicki Minaj joins her to perform this banger!
