Katy Perryhas admitted that legendary rockersQueen helped her to discover music.

The Roar singer has made no secret of her love for Freddie Mercury and Co, even calling her new fragrance after the band's 1974 hit, Killer Queen.

Much like Mercury, the 28-year old went on to state that she loves "having fun" with her look, stating: "I want to present myself as a human being, with lots of different aspects that aren't necessarily perfect.

"I think it's totally fine to accept everything you have if you can. It's good to try and have a certain grace with everything, but a sense of humour is most important. I try not to take myself too seriously."
