Katy Perry & Russell Brand's Wedding Celebrations Begin
As the couple will reportedly sit on gold thrones during their vows...
The couple, who are set to tie the knot at the luxury Aman-i-Khas resort in Rajasthan, India, allegedly enjoyed a Bollywood-style feast complete with snake charmers and traditional dancers.
The Firework singer and her hubby-to-be will allegedly sit on giant gold thrones at the wedding, much like David and Victoria Beckham did when they got hitched back in 1999.
According to The Sun, Katy and Russ 'burst out laughing' when trying out the thrones, which will be used in their 'traditional Indian ceremony' tomorrow.
A source told the newspaper: "They are very much keeping to Indian tradition. There will be feasting and dancing. And Katy will be painted head-to-toe in henna tattoos."
Rajasthan tour manager Mohan Singh, whose company have helped organise Katy and Russell's big day, also revealed that the bride and groom requested a 'traditional wedding.'
Singh told USA Today: "This would be a colourful Rajasthan wedding, and both Brand and Perry will be attired in Indian wedding attires."
He also claimed that the couple have hired 13 vehicles to take their 80+ guests on tours of the Ranthambore National Park wildlife sanctuary in the days after the wedding.
