Katy PerryandSelena Gomez were all smiles last night (28th November) as they attended a charity ball in New York.

K-Pez left beau John Mayer at home to hit theJustin Bieber - despite their recent reconciliation.

According to The Sun, guests at the event had expected Biebs to attend the party with Selena, but the Disney star cosied up to Katy instead.

Both ladies looked the part as Perry opted for a revealing navy blue gown, showing off her famous curves in the skin-tight frock, which she wore with a matching cape.

Selena sported a sexy, sparkly black D&G dress, while her long, brunette locks hung loosely around her shoulders.

Gomez seemed pleased to have been present at the event, telling her followers on Twitter: "So proud to be a part of @unicefusa we raised 2.5 million dollars tonight!! #unicefsnowflake’’
