Ever since Taylor Swift chart-topper'Bad Blood' came out, there's been some supposed, well, bad blood between herself and Katy Perry, whopretty much everyone seems to think is the unnamed popstar Swifty is alluding to in the song.

But now that Katy's new albumis on the way it's got people asking whether she's got a response track up her sleeve, and the questions have prompted her to spill a whole lot of tea on the status of the situation between the two of them.

Inerestingly, Katy's not here for the drama and when asked if she was planning to clapback at Bad Blood through song,she recentlytold Entertainment Weekly:"Well, that's not my question to answer — if it's about me."

While Taylor declined to name names at the time,she did explain the story to Rolling Stone in 2014, saying that the person the track is about did something "pretty horrible" and "tried to sabotage an entire arena tour."

Still, Katy isn't focusing on the past and wants to make it clear that she's rising above the situation and using her upcoming album to focus on female empowerment and strength. Revenge just isn't something she's interested in.

"I think there's a healing in it for me and vulnerability," she added when chatting toEW about the album.

"If people want to connect and be healed and feel vulnerable and feel empowered and strong, God bless and here it is."
