Katy Perrycame over all star struck after meeting fellow pop princess Britney Spears at the premiere of The Smurfs 2.
The pop star, who voices Smurfette in the kids' films, posed for some snaps with Britters at the "blue carpet" event - held at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California.

And she later tweeted a snap of them embracing with the caption: "OMG!!!!! I CAN'T IM CRYING"
While Britney was a tad more composed with her tweet: "So great to see you Smurfette @katyperry! Can't wait for our Vegas date."
And it has also emerged that KP actually sings on Britney's song from the movie's soundtrack, Ooh La La.
Katy told E! Online that she and collaborator Bonnie McKee had contributed backing vocals for the track.
She said: "Me and Bonnie secretly did some background vocals on that song, so maybe listen for our voices."
