Katy Perry 'Still Madly In Love With John Mayer'

Katy Perry has finally addressed her split from singer/songwriter John Mayer, revealing she still loves him.

Despite being [uuid=c809b48b-4582-40f3-b5ea-8cf61f4aa61d]Russell Brand, Perry stated: "No, not at all. No, I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him.

"All I can say about that relationship is that he’s got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds."

The Robert Pattinson, Katy was keen to point out that she's happily single: "I’m not in a relationship, I’m just on my own — I am myself in my own bed.

"I have to be happy being alone, and I am happy. I believe that I will be loved again, in the right way. I know I’m worth it."

In the same interview, Perry also spoke about her split from Brand, revealing how he dumped her over text message when asking for a divorce.
