“Perry’s a Slut” says Random

Jealous songwriter says Katy stole her song title…

Songwriter Jill Sobule has accused Katy Perry of stealing her song title and called her a slut for good measure.

Sobule, who signed a record deal in 1995, says she wrote and recorded a song called I Kissed A Girl over a decade before Perry had a worldwide hit of the same name.
And despite Jill’s version having completely different lyrics and music, she’s still miffed that Perry got rich and famous with her incarnation andtold the world thatshe got the idea for the song in a dream. "I was, 'well, good for her',” said Sobule of her initial reaction to the success of Katy’s version of the song. “It did bug me a little bit, however, when she said she came up with the idea for the title in a dream.
"In truth, she wrote it with a team of professional writers and was signed by the very same guy that signed me in 1995. I have not mentioned that in interviews as I don't want to sound bitter or petty... 'cause that's not me."
Sounding bitter and petty, she continued: "Okay, maybe, if I really think about it, there were a few jealous and p*ssed off moments.
"So here goes, for the first time in an interview: F**k you Katy Perry, you f**king stupid, maybe 'not good for the gays', title thieving, haven't heard much else, so not quite sure if you're talented, f**king little slut."
