Russell Brand Deported From Japan
Katy Perry was left disappointed yesterday after her hubbyRussell Brand was deported from Japan because of his criminal record.
The E.T. singer had hoped to spend some time with Russell ahead of her California Dreams show in Tokyo, but was left upset after the funnyman was forced to leave the country over an offence he committed ten years ago.
Perry took to Twitter to express her anger, posting on her official page: "So...my husband just got deported from Japan. I am so. sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place #tokyodreamscrushed."
The 26-year old continued to vent on the social networking site, stating: "It was for priors from over 10 years ago! #mamanothappy! #don'tmessw/mahman! #uwannaplaylet'sgo #don'ttakeawomansmanfromhershe'llgetshiasty!"
The Firework hitmaker then started a campaign to get Russell released from Tokyo airport, tweeting: "#FREE@RUSTYROCKETS! RT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Brand found a more funny side to the situation, posting a snap on Twitter of himself in custody, accompanied with the message: "Planning escape from Japanese custody. It's bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick."
The 35-year old then added an image of himself with a chopstick, tweeting: "Alcatraz! Shawshank Redemption! And now this! Ah, sweet blue bird of freedom!"
It is thought Russell was denied entry to Japan after being charged with criminal damage and indecent exposure back in 2001, when reporting from the May Day protests.
