Russell Brand has continued to quash rumours that his marriage to Katy Perry is over, insisting that he can't wait to be a dad.
Last week, online reports had suggested that The One That Got Away singer had filed for divorce from Brand - with the couple stepping out to get tattoos together in a bid to silence the accusations.
Now, Russell has claimed his marriage to Katy is still very much on, telling the Daily Star: “I am really happily married. I would like one (a baby).”
“I love those little babies in the beginning. They’re so lovely in that bit. Me and Katy are the godparents to two twin boys. At first they were boring. They were just essentially little fluid factories, generating fluids with no regard for what I was wearing."
The 36-year old funnyman contineud: “Now they are interesting. They smile and look at me and wonder. I’m just observing them like I’m a scientist. I can learn from them.”
Perry herself has also admitted to wanting to start a family with Russell, previously telling chat show host Ellen DeGeneres: "I would love to have children. I think that's one of the reasons you get married."
"Especially to the person that you marry. You think that person is going to be a good partner, a good parent. But I'm not sure it's time yet."
The Teenage Dream hitmaker added: "We'll see, ya know? If it doesn't hurt the first time, I'll keep popping them out!"
