Katy Perry promised us that her Prismatic tour would be a "feast for your eyes" - and she wasn't lying.

K-Pez opened her latest world tour in Belfast last night with an eye-popping stage spectacular which featured at least six elaborate costume changes.

A huge technicolour gown, an Egyptian ensemble, a yin-yang pattern outfit, an acid house-style get-up and a Cats-inspired "Kitty Purry" segment all featured in the show.

The 29-year-old star had spent 10 days rehearsing the show in the Northern Irish capital before it opened to the public at the Odyssey Arena last night.

"Finally, we're back together again," She said after opening the show with recent hit Roar. "I'm so excited, and I'm so nervous."

Other hits in her set included I Kissed A Girl, Hot N Cold, Dark Horse, The One That Got Away and Firework.

And she was clearly happy with how things went because she tweeted afterwards: "Um...It feels like we never left! Tonight was INSANE in all the best ways. I have a feeling the light hit everyone! #ThePrismaticWorldTour"

Perry had teased fans with a poem prior to the show.
