Keane are Crook
The three-piece cancel big shows because lead singer Toms suffering from exhaustion
Keane have cancelled three of their upcoming gigs after doctors ordered lead singer Tom Chaplin to take a break.
The gang have called off their headline spot at Edinburghs T On The Fringe (August 30); their Ibiza Rocks gig (August 23) and their Vodafone TBA gig in Dublin (August 31). The boys will still play V this weekend (August 19-21) however.
Cherub-faced front man Tom Chaplin has posted a statement on the bands website apologising to fans.
Im gutted that I have to take a break from touring. I was really looking forward to these dates, he writes.
But if it means we can do what weve planned for the rest of the year then Ill take the time off.
I want to apologise to our fans and I hope that everyone understands. Be assured that we will be back out there soon.
Sounds like Tom is more under the weather than 'Under The Iron Sea' - get well soon, sir.
