Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has revealed that he snorted his dads ashes. No really.

In an interview with the NME, the rock legend confessed that he elected to send off his dad by hoofing him up his nostrils with cocaine, following his cremation.

The strangest thing I've tried to snort? said Richards. My father. I snorted my father. He was cremated and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow.

"My dad wouldn't have cared, he didn't give a shit. It went down pretty well, and I'm still alive."

Keiths dad, Bert Richards, died in 2002 at the age of 84. The pair had reportedly feuded for years following Berts divorce from Keiths mum, but they made up before he died and before Keith snorted him.
