We'd heard from hubby Nas a while ago that she was a goddess in the kitchen and now Kelis has announced her first cookery book will be hit the shelves in January

The singer explained ,"It's for people who have lives and jobs and still like to eat well and entertain and do fun, creative stuff."

Saying her cookery genes come from her mum, she added, "I do a lot of peas and rice, the Spanish version. I do a lot of fish and sauces and some coconut curries."

Ah, so it's not just her milkshakes that bring the boys to the yard (ber-dum)...
