Kelis has spoken on her divorce from rapperNasand claims that they’re currently on speaking terms.

The R&B singer also said that her recent pregnancy inspired her new album, Flesh Tones.

She told US Weekly:"Yeah everything's fine. We are divorced, but there is no pointin fighting, there is nothing to fight about. I am super happy; my life is awesome. We are friends, we get along now and it's all good. Our son Knight is hilarious! He claps, he snaps and he waves. He is a shrunken little person and has a lot of personality.

“Pregnancy gives a woman a strong sense of validation. When you're pregnant, you wake up every day and internally everything is working perfectly and you look at the world and everything sort of fits together. It's hard not to realize there is a creator and he created all of us."
