Kelly Brook has called off her engagement to ex-Gladiator David McIntosh.

The model announced the news that she'd split from the Celebrity Big Brother housemate on Twitter last night (26 September).

She wrote: "It's a sad day but I wanted to share with you that David and I are no longer engaged. I love and respect him and wish him all the best."

She later tweeted: "Positive changes - good people - happy life - creative work".

It's rumoured that the couple's relationship was on the rocks since McIntosh disapproved of some of the model's comments in her new autobiography, Close Up.

The Piranha 3D actress has since deleted an Instagram post which announced her engagement to McIntosh back in March.

The ex-CBB hunk proposed to Kelly back in March, and the relationship was also said to be under strain following his behaviour on the reality show last month.
