Kelly Brook has opened up about her miscarriage last year and described it as "the hardest lesson" she has had to learn.
The 32-year-old model and TV personality has spoken about the heartbreaking experience in an interview with Top Sante magazine, explaining that she has changed her life dramatically since losing her child when five months pregnant.
She said: "My miscarriage was a hard lesson. Before I fell pregnant, I'd been living the life of a 22-year-old - going to clubs, working hard and flying to a different country every two weeks.
"When I first fell pregnant, I still thought I could run around and do whatever I wanted, but my body let me know that wasn't the case. When I miscarried, I was devastated.
"It was the hardest lesson but, ultimately, a good one. I'd been running on adrenalin believing I was invincible - like so many of us do."
Kelly explained that she has now reduced her workload and is exercising more and eating better food.
She continued: "I don't want to leave it much longer before having children and if I was to fall pregnant now, I'd feel ready."
Kelly lost the baby girl she was expecting with rugby player boyfriend Thom Evans when she was five months pregnant in May last year.
