Kelly Clarkson Claims She Was ‘Blackmailed’ Into Working With Dr. Luke Amid Kesha Battle

She's definitely not a fan of the producer.

She first showed her support for Kesha when it was revealed that the singer’s injunction against Dr. Luke was denied.

And now, Kelly Clarkson has gone on to reveal exactly what it’s like working with the producer who has been accused of sexually assaulting Kesha – and she definitely isn’t a fan.

Last month, Kelly posted a response to Kesha’s court hearing, tweeting: “Trying 2 not say anything since I can't say anything nice about a person... so this is me not talking about Dr. Luke.”

But in a new interview with Australia's KIIS 106.5, the star has described her own experience working with Dr. Luke, and reckons he’s ‘demeaning’ and a ‘liar’.

Kelly told the radio station: “I'll be honest about the guy, but I don't know that situation. He's not a good person, to me. We've clashed. He's difficult to work with, he's kind of demeaning.

"Obviously he's a talented dude but he's lied a lot. Musically it's been really hard for me because he will just lie to people and it makes the artist look bad."

"When so many artists don't like you, that says something. I only worked with him because literally I was blackmailed by my label. It was a really hard time for me.”

Kelly added: "We have a whole crew to support… people that depend on us for their livelihood so sometimes you have to make decisions that you just have to swallow that pill."

But while the singer is clearly no fan of Dr. Luke’s, she assures that he ‘never did anything like that’ to her – referring to his alleged assault on Kesha.
