Kelly Clarkson Denies Lesbianism

Kelly Clarkson has denied rumours that she is a lesbian telling a website I happen to like boys.

Talking to Popeater.com she said lesbians are often disappointed: "I get that all the time. People are like 'are you secretly a lesbian? Because I'd really love it.Lesbians tell it to me all the time."

Clarkson is currently number one in the Billboard Hot 100 with her single My Life Would Suck Without You.

When she popped into the MTV News offices recently we asked Kelly if her life would suck without any in particular.

She said: "I havent found that person yet. I mean I know people in those sort of relationships. But the song is very much about that sort of dysfunctional relationship that is so dysfunctional that its perfect and you cant imagine yourself with anyone else."

The American Idol winner added:

"So its my interpretation of a sweet song, its very hard for me to write sweet songs, because I like the edge on them."

My Life Would Suck Without You is released in the UK on March 2.
