Kelly Osbourne Quits Fashion Police After Co-Host's 'Racist' Comment
Presenter decides to jump ship following 'weed' comment about Zendaya Coleman...
Kelly Osbourne has sensationally quit her job on E!'s long-running Fashion Police following controversial comments from her co-presenter Giuliana Rancic.
On last Monday's Oscars 2015 special edition of the show, Rancic made a quip about Zendaya Coleman's dreadlocks smelling of "weed".
She said: "Like I feel like she, she smells like patchouli oil. Or weed. Yeah, maybe weed."
Kelly O - who has been part of the show since 2011 - was reportedly furious about the comment and tweeted that she was "seriously questioning staying on the show".
And it looks like she told producers she was going through with her threat to walk yesterday.
Her mum Sharon Osbourne tweeted: "@Kellyosbourne, I am so proud of you. You can never be bought. You always wear your heart on your sleeve #proudtobeyourmum."
The Mirror quoted a friend of Kelly's as saying: "Kelly is a woman of principles, she was upset and horrified that someone would say something like that.
"She is an intelligent, bright woman with principles. Those principles were at the heart of her wanting to leave."
