Kelly Osbourne's Engagement Called Off

Kelly Osbourne's engagement to Matthew Mossheart has been called off, it has emerged.

The TV personality and the vegan chef were last night confirmed by Kelly's spokesperson to have parted ways.

Her rep told E! News: "The split is amicable and the pair continue to have nothing but the utmost respect for one another.

"Kelly is looking forward to a new year full of fresh beginnings. No further comments will be provided by all parties and we request privacy, decorum and space from the press but don't expect it."

Kelly is seen wearing her engagement ring in recent episodes of Fashion Police, but those were recorded before the Christmas break.

She appears to have addressed the situation obliquely on Twitter, writing: "its all about perception sometimes the bad things that happen in life aren't really bad at all especially when you learn something from it!"

Kelly and Matthew got engaged last summer.
