Kendall Jenner Admits Teenage Acne ‘Ruined Her Self-Esteem’

But look at her now, eh?

Considering Kendall Jenner is without a doubt one of the hottest models on the planet right now, it’s hard to imagine that she’s ever struggled with her appearance.

But the reality star’s opened up to her fans via her website, revealing that the acne she suffered from as a teenager (she turns 20 next week, but whatever)completely crushed her confidence.

Thanks to the glory days of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, we’ve seen Kendall pretty much grow up before our very eyes – which is probably a pretty hard thing to do.

And even though the younger sibling seemed to always be having a good time, she was seriously struggling behind the scenes.

She explained in her app: “I had such bad acne when I was younger; I remember it SO well. I started having skin issues around the 8th or 9th grade.

“I think I just got acne from being a teenager and simply growing up, which happens to SO many people. But where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it.

“It completely ruined my self-esteem. I wouldn't even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast - when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face.”

Kendall says she’s been acne free for three years now, and reckons her 'incredible dermatologist' is behind it all, as well as just simply growing out of it.

But she also reassured her young fans that it’s bad skin is a ‘part of life for some people, and it doesn't define who you are’.
