Life as a Kardashian is a powerful thing, but sometimes the sisters make a slip-up so spectacular that even a Momager can’t make it disappear quietly under the radar. Gulp.

And as lovely/gorgeous/adorable as Kendall Jenner is, she’s had her fair share of seriously awkward controversies over the past couple of years that will make you eyeroll so hard that you change the Earth’s orbit.

Wanna dive head first into some of Kenny J’s most awks moments? Here’s 9 scandals that have gone a bit tits up for Kendall over the years.

1. The Vogue India cover

Just when we all thought that Kendall had managed to escape unscathed from the whole Pepsi thing (more on that shit show later), it all went tits up again thanks to her latest cover for Vogue magazine.

Appearing on the cover of Vogue India’s 10th anniversary edition, Kendall came under fire as critics wondered why the eff she’d been chosen to feature on a magazine that err… represents India. Awkward.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter was an absolute minefield of anti-Kendall commentary like these:

2. The Pepsi commercial

Oh gahd. Oh gahd. Oh gahd. It doesn't get literally any less excrutiatingly cringeworthy as time goes on, does it?

Literally no one on earth could understand who thought it was a good idea to haveKendall Jenner solving humanity'srace relations with a can of Pepsi, and unsuprisingly, they soon pulled the plug on the ad thanks to the internet's reaction.

Kendall kept quiet while the world burned around her in response to the advert, but Pepsi issued an apology for putting a grown woman "in this position". Hmm.

3. The ballet dancer shoot

Kenny J was front and centre stage for a ballet dancer themed shoot which saw her prancing around in a pair of pointe shoes and a leotardin Vogue Espana last year.

While she seemed pretty proud of the final result and shared the images on her Instagram,ballet dancers who've spent their lifetimes training 8 hours a day, 7 days a week with bleeding toenails were not exactly endorsing her.

4. The Fyre Fest endorsment

Like pretty much every other hot young A-lister thang, Kendall was revealed to havereportedly been $250,000 to promotemusic event Fyre Festivalon Instagram.

That was, of course, before the whole festival turned into a complete disaster, as attendees expecting a luxury retreat in the Bahamas found themselves in a wasteland surrounded by rapid dogs and medical relief tents.

While other influencers like Bella Hadid wrote a semi-apologyfor their involvement in the epic fail, Kenny J did what she does best and just kept very quiet about the whole thing after swiftly deleting all traces. It NEVER HAPPENED, eh Ken?

5. The moment of silence

At the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, Kendall, Kylie and Kim had eyeballs rolling when they were seemingly caught on camera texting through a moment of silence for a teenage victim of a police killing.

After everyone noticed the footage, Kendall told Huffpost Entertainment:“I just specifically remember not texting and bowing my head down for the moment of silence and that’s all I have to say about that."

Either way, she looked less than impressed by the whole speech.

6. The dreadlocks and the cornrows

The Kardashians are pretty great at upsetting peopleand Kendall, along with the rest of her sisters, hasfaced criticism on a couple of different occasions for cultural appropriation when it comes to hairstyles.

She was sent down the runway by Marc Jacobs wearing a head of coloured dreadlocks, and also managed to piss a lot of people off back in 2015 by wearing cornrows.

To be fair to her, the whole thing was made a lot worse when Marie Claire tweeted thatshe was "takingbold braids to a new epic level". Sigh.

7. The aspiring models

When Kendall decided that modelling was the career for her, it didn't take long before she was walking pretty much everytop designer catwalkacross the world.

It kinda goes without saying that being a member of the Kardashian family may have given her a leeeettle boost up the ladder, and fellow models in the industry didn't react too kindly to her sudden skyrocket to supermodel status.

An open letter from one aspiring model quickly went viral, when she pointed out that her quick progression in the industry was kinda unfair and undervalued other models' achievements.

It's definitely an awkward one - and Kim dropping THIS little gem on an episode of KUWTK didn't exactly help the matter:

8. The weird Snapchatwith Kylie

Anyone else remember that time Kendall and Kylie posted the most bizarre Snapchat video of all time? Or have we all tried to erase that from our memories for the rest of time?

It basically featured Kylie giving her sister the ol' reach around, and it was err... uncomfortable.

For some reason, Kylie reaches around her big sister's waist, into her jeans and then heads south. It goes without saying that the millions of people who watch Kylie's Snapchat were slighty confused about this one, and now let's never speak of this again.

9. The dangerous driving

And last but not least, Kendall and Kylie received a WHOLE lot of angry responses when they shared a Snapchat video filmed while the girls were driving.

Kylie had one hand on the wheel and one filming her sister, while Kendall had a leg stuck out of the window and generally wasn't being the most sensible passenger in the entire world.

So y'know, don't get too close to their car if you happen to be driving around Calabasas.
