Kendall Jenner may have been embroiled in the whole Fyre Festival scandal – but she wasn’t going to let that stand in the way of a good selfie.

The reality star found herself under fire over the weekend as a luxury festival she helped promote was cancelled as guest started to arrive as the site was a shambolic mess unsuitable for hosting the elite who spent thousands of dollars to attend.

But instead of hiding away from the backlash, Kendall slipped into some $4,000 (£3,500) boots and took a topless selfie of herself instead.

The star shared the partially starker’s moment on Instagram on Saturday as the heat intensified following the festival disaster.

Meanwhile fellow reality-star-turned-model Bella Hadid also took to social media to offer an apology to fans who took her advise to buy tickets to Fyre Festival (which she also helped promote).

“I initially trusted this would be an amazing & memorable experience for all of us, which is why I agreed to do one promotion,” Bella wrote in a statement shared on Twitter.

She added: "I feel so sorry and badly because this is something I couldn't stand by, although of course if I would have known about the outcome, you would have all known too."
