Pepsi Pulls Kendall Jenner Advert After Huge Backlash

Wise move, Pepsi.

Pepsi have officially removed and apologised fortheir new ad campaign featuring Kendall Jenner, after facing a huge online backlash.

The advert in question saw Kendall ditching a photoshoot to a join a protest, before handing a police officer a can of Pepsi causing a huge cheerfrom the crowd.

Only this was understandably not accepted by, well, anyone, as it looked to be making light of incredibly important recent protest movements all in the name of sales.

"Pepsi was trying to project a global a message of unity, peace and understanding," Pepsi said in a statement.

"Clearly, we missed the mark, and we apologize. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are pulling the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position."

Kendall has yet to speak out about the incident, aside from deleting all and any mention of it from her social media.
