Five months pregnant Kerry Katona slapped her mother in law, was drunk on vodka and smoked like a chimney on New Years Eve, according to one report.

However in another Sunday paper the former Atomic Kitten says her mother in law attacked her unprovoked and she feared for her unborn baby.

Kerrys partners mum Marilyn Croft yesterday sold her story to the 'News Of The World'.

She revealed that her fight with Kerry took place after she complained that people were smoking around their young children on New Years Eve. Croft says the pregnant star flew at her in a drunken rage.

She also told the paper: I firmly believe shed taking drugs now- while pregnant with my grandchild.

In 'The People' newspaper Katona denied the allegations saying her mother in law viciously attacked her at the party on December 31.

Kerrys partner Mark said: I still can't understand how my mum could do such a thing.
