Katy Perry and Lady Gaga have reportedly been dragged into the legal battle between Kesha and Dr Luke, with a text message from Kesha to Lady Gaga having beensealed by the judge in the case.

Even though Kesha has dropped the sexual assault charges against Dr Luke in the state of California, the battle is still ongoing in New York - with a hearing having been held back in December.

E! News obtained a document from this hearing that suggests the textin question was sentfrom Kesha to Lady Gaga inApril 2016.

Katy Perry is also said to be involved in the message, but the context of what it says or who it will benefit in the legal battle is still confidential. At this point, it will depend on both Kesha and Dr Luke's attorneys whether the textwill actually be used in court.

Just to refresh everyone's memory, Kesha initially sued Dr Luke back in 2014 claiming sexual assault and battery, to which he then countersued calling the allegations 'defamatory'. Lady Gaga has previously voiced her support for Kesha, while Katy Perry has remained silent.
