Worried Kevin Federline has called for an emergency family court hearing.

The wannabe rapper put in the request yesterday (February 21) after discovering Britney had checked out of rehab for the second time in less than a week.

Fed and his lawyer are expected to appear at Los Angeles family court today (February 22) - there's been no confimation as to which issues he'll be raising, but we could take a guess.

Superior Court spokesperson Allan Parachini told the Associated Press: "Our best information is he will be here; (Britney won't). But anything is possible."

A temporary custody order granting Brit and K-Fed joint custody of their two nippers Jayden James and Sean Preston through January has recently been extended.
