Kian Egan 'Abandoning Pop For Television Career'
Westlife star reported to be dedicated to making it big on small screen...
The singer has already been working as a stand-in for Caroline Flack on The Xtra Factor and has replaced Coleen Nolan on This Morning's The Hub.
And The Sun reports that he has been hailed as a natural by the latter show's producer.
This Morning executive producer Karl Newton says that the 32-year-old is "amazingly talented", adding: "Our viewers will be in for a TV treat when he takes over The Hub. He is sure to brighten up our overcast summer."
Speaking about the This Morning job, Kian told The Sun: "I've always enjoyed This Morning, so I was delighted when I got the call to be part of the team.
"The Hub is such a great way to interact with viewers discussing different topics — some serious and some light-hearted. I've also heard that it is a lovely team there, so I'm really looking forward to sharing the screen with Eamonn and Ruth."
Westlife played their last gig together in Dublin earlier this summer.
