Christopher Mintz-Plasse Discusses Kick-Ass 2

Star says movie sequel will be 'super-violent and bloody and funny'...

Kick-Ass, revealing that it will be "super-violent and bloody".
And the actor, who played Red Mist in the first movie (as well as McLovin in Superbad), said that production was about to begin on the follow-up to the critically acclaimed comic book adaptation.
The 23-year-old told Collider: "It's super-violent and bloody and funny and it's got a great cast. I'm really excited. I fly out to London in a week to get started... on rehearsals and wardrobe and stuff and then I think we start shooting September.
"It's going to be busy because I'm flying back and forth because I'm shooting a show for CBS as well, so I'll be shooting a couple of weeks September, fly back, go out again in October for like a week, come back, and then go out again in November for a couple of weeks."
And he revealed that the plot of the sequel had moved on to account for the fact that its young star Chloe Moretz was growing up and is now 15.

"I had no idea if [the sequel] was going to happen," he continued. "It didn't seem like it, especially now that Chloe is like, what, is she 37 now? But no, they wrote an incredible script.
"I think she's going into 9th grade in this which is really smart. They didn't keep her 11 as she was in the first one. They kind of aged it up a bit."
Banner art for the sequel was unveiled last week, promising a 2013 release date.
