Kick-Ass 2 Gets Action-Packed First Trailer

The first trailer for Chloe Moretz's potty-mouthed Hit Girl administering a beating to Jim Carrey's Colonel Stars is also given a prominent role in the trailer.

Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who plays the villainous Red Mist (aka The Motherf**ker) is pictured in his penthouse lair warning: "Kick-Ass is going to pay for what he did to my father."

He also says: "I'm building an evil army."

Clocking in at over two-and-a-half minutes, the trailer also features snatches of action scenes - including a thrilling car-chase fight scene in which Hit Girl takes on the baddies.

The film is set to open on 19 July in the UK.
