Kiesza Scores Debut UK No 1 Single With Hideaway

As Paolo Nutini notches up fastest-selling album of 2014 so far with Caustic Love...

Canadian singer Kiesza has gone straight in at the top of the Official UK Singles Chart with her vintage house-flavoured dancefloor filler Hideaway.

The track knocked last week's No 1 - the Kanye West-inspired drum and bass anthem Nobody To Love by Sigma - down to No 2.

Shift K3y's Touch was a new entry at No 3 and John Legend's All Of Me was a non-mover at No 4. Aloe Blacc's The Man slipped two places to No 5.

Meanwhile, over in the Official UK Albums Chart, Paulo Nutini has soared straight to No 1 with his third album Caustic Love.

The Italo-Scot's latest LP sold 109,000 copies in its first week of release, making it the fastest-selling album of the year so far.

The Vamps' Meet The Vamps was another new entry at No 2, while Paloma Faith's A Perfect Contradiction slipped one spot to No 3.

John Legend's Love In The Future also fell one place to No 4 and Kaiser Chiefs' Education, Education, Education & War rounded out the top five.
