Killa Kela Rocks London

Killa Kela played at Londons Jazz Caf last night (February 1) and this time he wasnt by himself.

Killa Kela, one of MTV's Spanking New Music Week performers last year, rolled into town last night with his band The Spit Kingdom , comprising of MC Trip , Spider J, Rookwood, DJ Skeletrik and a string quartet.

The beatboxer extraordinaire-turned-singer was on fine form, dropping his trademark self made fat beats along side his self penned tracks from his debut album, 'Elocution'

Stand out tracks were opener 'Rave Of The Future', big bouncer 'Supergrass', the soulful 'Sleeping Patterns' upcoming single 'Secrets' and show finale 'Jawbreaker'. These original joints, coupled with Kela's interpretations of famous tunes such as Kelis's 'Milkshake' and Snoop's 'Drop It Like Its Hot', insured all the punters enjoyed a top beats and soul fuelled night out.
